ART HOUSE FUNDRAISER

GREETINGS CARDS COMPETITION

To support our subsidised workshops & bursaries

126 entries received for our Greetings Cards Competition

60 contributing artists

169 visitors to the One Day Exhibition on Saturday 13th December

507 votes cast....

The high standard of work meant the voting was incredibly close and couldn't be separated at tenth place, so we can announce that there are 12 winning entries, rather than the ten planned!

Tom Cole's watercolour 'Murky' received the most votes. His painting was inspired by the noble pines emerging from morning mists that swirl through the ethereal valleys of Dartmoor. His and the other winning entries can be seen below;

A massive thank you to everyone who took part, thanks to you, you made the day a great success. The event prompted lots of interesting conversations about art. The huge variety of art and opinions about it were reflected in the votes which were remarkably evenly spread. All the entries will be on display in the corridor space next door to Art House in the Old School Community Centre in South Brent for the whole of January 2026 for you to come and see.
