Shirley is a landscape artist specialising in oil and mixed media, whose work is synonymouswith light, atmosphere and energy and has a deep sense of place lying at its heart. An elected Academician with SWAC [South west Academy of Fine Art], and a member of the Penwith Society of Arts, she is an experienced adult education tutor. She runs workshops throughout the year at Art House, suitable for all abilities and which explore a range of creative techniques including painting for beginners, mixed media, cold wax & oil and landscape in relation to light, colour and atmosphere.
