We are very excited to welcome visiting tutor Rachel Bower, for this fabulous weekend workshop . Rachel will be teaching us the Scottish Arm Creel which she has been researching and remaking and which was part of this year's nationally touring exhibition "Basketry: Rescuing, Reviving , Retaining. This beautiful and strong basket has an unusual way of securing the ribs of the basket and it was start of a conversation between Rachel and myself which led to this opportunity for Rachel to visit Devon and share these techniques with us.
