This class has the same content as the daytime Christmas Introduction to Fused Glass but with the addition of some delicious mulled wine (or non-alcoholic alternative) and festive nibbles. It is suitable for 16 years + to adult. In this longer introductory course, you will learn how to cut glass first and then you will have a chance to design, cut and make your own selection of fused glass Christmas decorations using top quality Bullseye sheet and accessory glass (including some accessory glass unique to Annette Daly Glass). Each student will make approximately 6 to 8 decorations such as snowmen, robins, stars, Christmas trees and mistletoe or alternatively you can make a larger fused glass panel which will look stunning on your mantlepiece over the festive period. Your decorations will last for many Christmases to come and also make beautiful gifts.

Don’t worry if you don’t consider yourself to be creative or ‘arty’. Fused glass is a very forgiving medium and even complete beginners can get fantastic results on their first attempt. Annette will provide example decorations, templates and ideas to get you started but the possibilities are endless and your decorations will be beautiful and unique. Your decorations will be fired by Annette in a specialist glass kiln after the course and will be available for collection about a week later or they can be posted to you for the cost of postage.

The recommended age for this course is 12+ to adult. If you have a younger child who wants to do this course and has previously done a fused glass course either with Annette or elsewhere, this may be possible but please discuss with Annette before booking them on.
